ADVERTISING SPONSORSHIP COMMERCIAL OPPORTUNITIES
BRITISH FINAL 2013
1. GENERAL This is a proposal from Coventry Cycle Speedway Club outlining the benefits, details and costs of advertising, sponsorship and commercial opportunities in the 2013 season, including the British Final. 2. COVENTY CYCLE SPEEDWAY CLUB STATUS Coventry Cycle Speedway Club (hereafter Coventry CSC) is an entirely amateur grass roots community sports club.
All positions are voluntary and unpaid.
3. COVENTRY CYCLE SPEEDWAY CLUB GENERAL
Coventry Cycle Speedway club is based at Hearsall Common, Earlsdon, Coventry, one mile from the city centre.
The club are affiliated to British Cycling, the nationally recognised governing body for cycle sport in the UK. In 2013, the club will race in the Midlands League. They will also compete in a host of other events all over the UK.
By agreement with Coventry City Council, the club occupy the Hearsall Common Cycle Speedway track. In May 2011, the club, utilising their own voluntary labour and self raised funds, reinstated the Hearsall Common track to international standard, after four years of decline. This was at no cost to any taxpayer.
An astonishing revival took place throughout the summer of 2011. Once again, the Hearsall Common track now boasts a thriving community sports club, catering for elite sporting cyclists and providing a rich range of exciting racing competition for scores of local young people.
Parents of local youngsters help organise the club.
In 2012, the Coventry successfully ran a full programme of racing providing a varied agenda of competition for elite, veteran and junior riders alike. They successfully introduced a weekly `Club Night`, aimed at new riders, organised by volunteers Dave Frith, Norman Venson and Myke Grimes. This provided exciting, healthy and energetic activity to many dozens of local young people throughout the summer.
Cycle Speedway is governed by British Cycling, the nationally recognised governing body for cycle sport in the UK. 5. THE 2013 BRITISH FINAL
The Coventry club will proudly stage the British Final at Hearsall Common, Coventry. This will be a free Bank Holiday attraction for the people of Coventry to attend. The British Final will be shown on Sky Sports, and will be broadcast in over 30 countries worldwide, with a global reach of over 200 million homes.
The British Final is the `blue riband` event of Cycle Speedway. First staged in 1951, as Cycle Speedway originated on the bombsites of world war 11, the event has grown in stature and importance. Despite the emergence of European and World championships, with racing expanding to Japan, Australia, Ukraine, USA, Denmark, New Zealand and Poland, the British Final retains its position as the most prestigious event on the domestic Cycle Speedway calendar.

8. SKY SPORTS COVERAGE
Coventry Cycle Speedway is proud to announce the 2013 British Final will be filmed for National, European and Worldwide TV transmission. In the UK, it will be broadcast on Sky Sports on four occasions. Each programme will last 30 minutes. The British Final will be later broadcast to over 30 countries. It will have a global reach of over 200 million homes. 9. WEBSITE The club have recently launched a new website. Note: Prices also include all home Coventry CSC matches in 2013 11. TRADE STANDS Applications are invited from companies for the exhibition of trade stands at the 2013 British Final. Cost per stand: £100 12. CATERING CONCESSION Applications are invited for the catering concession at the 2013 British Final.
Operating times shall be from 9am 6pm on Monday 26th August 2013.
Applicants must provide prior written accreditation of all pertaining Food Hygiene certificates.

13. SAFETY FENCE ADVERTISING HOARDING
Positioned on the outside safety fence (perimeter) of the track for high optimum exposure on Sky Sports TV and printed media. 14ft x 2ft approx Cost: £100 Production cost extra. Note: Price also include all home Coventry CSC matches in 2013 14. HEAT SPONSORSHIP Heat sponsorships available for the 2013 British Final.
Heat sponsors will have name and logo in British Final programme. Heat sponsors will have name/logo flashed onto LED video screen on finals day. Heat sponsors name to be broadcast via public address system.

o The sponsorship includes perimeter advertising on Hearsall Lane on 26.8.2013
· PA ANNOUNCEMENTS
o The sponsorship includes the playing of adverts over the PA of adverts pertaining to the sponsorship, including the playing of pre-recorded radio adverts
· FULL MEETING BRANDING
o The sponsorship includes full accreditation in media releases as issued by Coventry CSC to all media outlets in support of the British Final
· VEHICLES ON DISPLAY
o This sponsorship includes the display of up to 2 vehicles at key points, i.e., admission area and trackside
· WEBSITE
o Sponsor to appear on the Coventry CSC website for 12 months as a result of this sponsorship, with link
