An over 40s team event has been arranged for the 7th August at Cookson Park in Sheffield. Currently teams from Sheffield, Hull, Heckmondwike and a North/Scotland
Select have confirmed. If any other teams or individual riders are interested in attending please contact Fred Rothwell, Mick Knowles or Rob Mawhood. Teams could be made up of riders from the same regions, possibly a Midlands Select or an East-West Select.
"Many of the Vets will not have ridden the recently built Cookson Park circuit, so it's a great chance to add another track to the list" said Mick Knowles.
"A pie and pea late lunch is to be served at the local Police social club, so it would be appreciated if anyone wishing to attend could contact either of the names above
to give a rough idea of who and how many are attending" he added.
