COVENTRY INVITE CHALLENGE FIXTURES posted 20 February 2014
Coventry Devlins Newsagents, racing to the tapes for their third year of racing since their amazing comeback, have invited all cycle speedway clubs to consider home and away challenge matches against the Hearsall Common based speedsters.
Coventry would particularly like to hear from any clubs outside the Midlands region who may wish to do battle. Interested clubs should email Coventry club secretary Rob Barnett with suggested dates. Rob can be contacted on [email protected]
Clubs and individuals have been reminded by British Cycling that they must race in uniform clothing in both team and individual events meaning that riders must wear identical shirts and race trousers.
Clubs are asked to remind their riders that they are required to wear that competition strip (both jerseys and trousers) of the club they are riding for in both individual and team competitions said a British Cycling spokesman.
