EURO VETS
COMING TO A TRACK NEAR YOU posted 1 May 2013
The 2013 Euro Vet Series has picked The Orchid Charity (Fighting Male Cancers) to be its chosen charity for the 2013/2014 series.
We are hoping to raise some money throughout the year for this much needy charity with the help and support of the various tracks hosting each stage.
To help us in our quest we have teamed up with Steve Mullinder of Dash Trophies, and with his help now have t-shirts and key-rings supporting the charity. Proceeds from the sale of these will also go the The Orchid Charity.
T-shirts are £10.50 plus p&p and come in sizes S,M,L, XL & XXL. The Key-rings are £3.25 plus p&p. Both are available from or from either Fred Rothwell or Kevin Smith at a Euro Vet Track near you.
Please if you can, would you support this very worthy cause. Thank you.
EUROVETS SUPPORT ORCHID CHARITY posted 4 February 2013
This season the Eurovet series sees a new concept. The series will carry the name "The Orchid Eurovet Series. This is a reverse sponsorship, with the events being used to raise money for the Orchid charity. This has been made possible due to the generous support of an anonymous backer who is covering the running costs of the series.
The influx of funds will hopefully cover all the trophies and awards while the entry fees and raffles etc will be used to build up a fund to be donated to the Orchid charity at the end of the season. Check out the charity on http://www.orchid-cancer.org.uk/
Hopefully this will be another successful series, with the added dimension of the veteran fraternity creating a vehicle to raise funds for a very worthy cause Fred Rothwell told Spokesman.
